Our annual Wilson PAL Softball Camp is designed for girls with a desire learn how to play fast-pitch softball or to sharpen their skills as an experienced player. Our camp is basic and we teach the participants basic fielding, and hitting techniques. During the camp, various stations are set up in which drills are used to hone in on specific skills required to play the game. We teach fundamentals of throwing, fielding, and hitting to teach these girls how to play softball. Additionally, we may have advanced participants that will be taught advanced skills through drills and repetition. The camp usually culminates by teaching sliding drills on a “slip and slide”. The girls always enjoy this water game while learning the proper technique of sliding into bases.
